Esther & Max’s Cosy Autumn Wedding at Cain Manor, With Sparkler Magic!

Bride walking down the aisle at Cain Manor as groom waits with their spaniel dog sitting between them, surrounded by guests and fairy lights.

Esther and Max’s November wedding at Cain Manor was filled with warmth, personal details, and the kind of golden autumn light that makes for unforgettable photography. From a Lego-themed proposal to a sparkler tunnel with their dog Bruno by their side throughout, this cosy autumn wedding shows perfectly how gorgeous a wedding in November can be.

A Love Story Built to Last (With Lego!)

Introduced on a double date by Esther’s cousin and her husband (who also happened to be Max’s friends), they clicked over Indian food & never looked back.

Max proposed, while decorating the Christmas tree, he surprised Esther with a handmade Lego bauble. Inside was a mini version of them both, surrounded by snow. When she shook it, the words “Marry Me?” appeared.

Why Cain Manor Was the One

Despite visiting the venue on a cold and grey January day, Esther and Max were instantly taken by Cain Manor’s character and charm. With its inglenook  fireplaces, timber-beamed interiors, and serene woodland views, it offered the exact mix of elegance and comfort they wanted for their cosy autumn wedding day.

“We saw so much magic and potential… our breaths were taken away the moment we stepped inside.”

Wedding Outfits That Made a Statement

The Dress: Esther’s gown was her dream come true, a princess-style A-line dress with floral lace detail, beaded straps, and a soft, sweeping skirt. She added a plain veil, pearl jewellery, and a tiara for that final fairytale touch.

The Suit: Max always wanted a green suit, and found his perfect fit on their first shopping trip. An olive green three-piece suit paired with claret accessories created a look that was both bold and elegant. Max said he felt “like a million dollars” a testament to the power of well-tailored clothes.

Flowers with a Historical Twist

The couple’s florals paid homage to their venue’s Tudor roots. They chose a timeless red and white rose theme, reflecting the Tudor rose motif and Esther’s love for classic blooms. The addition of seasonal greenery kept everything grounded in the November setting.

A Heartfelt Ceremony (with Bruno 🐾)

Esther walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years by The Piano Guys, an instrumental choice that allowed guests to fully soak in the emotion of the moment.

Seeing Max waiting with their dog Bruno was a standout memory. Esther’s mum gave a touching reading, and when it was time to walk back up the aisle, they did it as husband and wife with Bruno proudly leading the way of course !

The Sparkler Send-Off ✨

As night fell, the celebrations lit up, literally. The couple’s sparkler photos were some of my favourites of the evening. The combination of movement, emotion, and golden light made for some of the most loved images in their gallery.

A First Dance to Remember

Their first dance was to Rule The World by Take That. They hadn’t choreographed a full routine, but had rehearsed just enough to move naturally and confidently together. And in a spontaneous moment of joy, Bruno joined them on the dancefloor, a memory they’ll treasure forever.

From walking down the aisle with their dog Bruno to an impromptu dance-floor moment, Max & Esther’s wedding day is full of dog-friendly wedding inspiration.

Max: “Lunch! It was the only time I really got to sit down with my wife and enjoy a quiet moment together.”

Esther: “At the end of our first dance, when Bruno joined us. Completely unplanned, but absolutely perfect.”
