Emma was just fantastic. Her skill with people is at the core of what she does. My partner and I are completely useless in front of a camera, yet she somehow got us relaxed and actually enjoying ourselves, and gave us the most Beautiful photos at the end of it. She also did the most amazing job at catching special moments throughout our wedding day, and well into the night, capturing everyone having an absolute ball. I cannot recommend Emma enough. She's skilled at putting you at ease, really knows her craft, and captured the best memories for us.

After meeting Emma at a family wedding, we knew even before seeing her photos that we wanted to book her for our wedding. Her manner and personality was just exactly what we were looking for. Then seeing the gallery, we were even more set on contacting Emma. Keeping in contact with us every step of the way, we honestly could not have asked for a better photographer. She is so professional and cares so much about her clients, she really makes you feel at ease. She’s excellent at keeping everyone on track and has such a lovely manner about her. We ended up booking a second photographer for the day, which looking back was a great suggestion from Emma and both of these lovely ladies are incredibly talented. So let’s talk final results… we love our photos 💕 Emma captured our day exactly how we wanted it and guided us (2 pretty awkward people) to getting absolutely beautiful shots. We have had endless lovely comments about our photos and about Emma and we would not hesitate to recommend her!!

Our day was honestly everything we hoped it would and more and you played a huge role in helping that happen. From the moment you arrived until you left you were brilliant. Calm, professional and very versatile! From dealing with a VERY camera phobic bride to shooting in what must be the darkest and most cramped getting ready room ever, you just got on with it and importantly managed to keep me sane and mostly calm. The preview images are just amazing! I’m not sure how you did it but it’s like you got into our heads and produced the exact shots we wanted. You absolutely nailed it! All we can say is a massive thank you. You were so much more than just our photographer!

I don’t even know where to start, but think the fact I’ve cried each time I’ve looked at our photos (as have friends and family!) says that Emma perfectly captured every moment and emotion from our wedding. Tom and I both told Emma that we would rather be with our friends and family than taken away to have photos (perhaps not the easiest clients!) yet Emma still managed to get the most beautiful photos of the two of us that we will treasure forever. Emma has an amazing ability to capture everyone’s smiles, laughter, tears and happiness without you even knowing she is there. She made us all feel totally at ease, didn’t fuss (or make us pose!) and even got my 18 month old nephew to look at the camera! I could go on and on, but the bottom line is Emma should be your number one pick as photographer, you won’t regret using her, and will (I’m sure) look at your photos in years to come and be pleased you made that decision! Best Day of Our Lives! Would 1000% recommend Emma over and over again, her work is absolutely amazing and she produced the most perfect photos for us capturing our wedding day perfectly! She made us feel so relaxed and comfortable (even when I was getting stressed) we had so many photos it was so hard to choose our favourites, I wish we could do it over again!

We cannot thank Emma and Beautiful Light Photography enough for her outstanding work with us both before, during and after our wedding day. From our very first meeting with Emma she put our mind at rest about what to expect and what we would be expected to do on the day. Initially, we had a video call with Emma to discuss us and what we are both interested in which helped us to build a rapport with her - we both think this was really important as we wanted to feel comfortable with her sharing our wedding day experience. From then we met Emma for a “reckie” at our venue which gave both Emma and ourselves the chance to see the different shots and locations Emma would want to use, again this was really calming for us and helped us to understand what would happen on the day. Finally, on our wedding day Emma went above and beyond in helping us to make things run smoothly. Having already discussed shots we wanted prior to the day we were able to get through the pictures with family and friends quickly and with ease. From the first call with Emma, I knew she was going to be the photographer for us, she was so warm and had a real calming demeanour. We did our couples shoot with her just a few weeks before the wedding and she managed to make us laugh even thoughout all the uncertainty at the time. She had a real presence and was able to direct us but without being bossy, just a true professional. On the day of our wedding, Emma, Em and Ruth again were just a wonderful addition to the day. I know Simon really appreciated Ruth's support and help in the morning and nothing was too much trouble. Emma went above and beyond with helping me get into my dress and just in general being kind and reassuring throughout. I think i cried for about half the day the mixture of relief and joy that we had got to this day and it was happening in the way we wanted kept me emotional but throughout it all Emma still managed to keep us smiling and capture the perfect day. Honestly we cannot recommend you enough to any of our family or friends looking for a photographer !

An amazing experience with Beautiful Light! Emma has been an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. We did a pre-wedding photo shoot a few months before the day to get comfortable in front of the camera and Emma made us feel completely relaxed and captured our personalities perfectly. She was very communicative in the lead up to the day and I really appreciated her taking the time to talk through timings, visit the venue to scout photo locations and make recommendations for how to seamlessly integrate formal photos into our schedule for the day. On the day itself she brought so much positivity and energy and made us feel totally relaxed in front of the camera. She worked flat out and captured every important moment. So many of our guests remarked on how lovely she was, and she succeeded in corralling our friends and families for group photos - no easy feat! On top of all that, she sent us a collection of photos as a preview just 24 hours later. Emma made our day even more special and we could not recommend her more.
