Choosing your wedding venue is such a big part of your plans as it sets the tone, the atmosphere and the pace of your day. Once that’s decided, finding a photographer who genuinely knows your venue can make everything feel that little bit easier.

I photograph weddings across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire & the South East. I’m proud to be a recommended supplier at a number of beautiful venues across those counties. Working regularly at the same venues means I understand how each space works, how the light changes through the day, and how to photograph things naturally without interrupting the flow of your wedding.

That familiarity allows me to focus on what matters most. Capturing those real moments for you, understanding relationships and the feelings of your day calmly and unobtrusively.

Below you’ll find some of the wedding venues I photograph most often. Each page includes real insight from weddings I’ve photographed there, along with galleries and practical guidance to help you decide whether my approach feels right for you.

Wedding venues that I regularly work at ;

Why venue experience matters…..

Every wedding venue has its own rhythm. Some lend themselves to quiet, intimate moments, others to big celebrations with lots happening at once. Knowing a venue well means:

  • I’ll be in the right position, at the right time to capture the moment beautifully.
  • I can work discreetly without constantly repositioning you.

  • Your group photos are organised smoothly, in a friendly way & managed efficiently.

  • Your portraits feel relaxed and unforced.

  • I can adapt quickly to weather, light or timeline changes.

  • You don’t need to worry about whether moments will be missed.

It’s not about staging your day……..it’s about understanding it.

My calm, natural approach to wedding photography.

My style is natural, people-led and timeless. I focus on real interactions rather than poses, stepping in only when gentle guidance is helpful. For example, perhaps gently tidying prep area in readiness for your reveal photos as a brightly coloured carrier bag in the background can be somewhat distracting ! Or moving you closer to the window for better light when you are ready for your pre wedding ceremony portraits.

Then there are “plandids” ………. Where I’ll set you & some great lighting up ready to capture the action during a champagne spray or sparkler walk, but what happens once we say “action” is completely spontaneous !

The result is a collection of images that reflect how your wedding felt, not just how it looked. All of my galleries contain a combination of posed portraits, documentary style candids, group photos & still life style photos of those important details that themed your day.

If your venue is listed above, you can explore a dedicated page with more detail & if it isn’t listed yet, that doesn’t neccesarily mean I won’t have photographed there.

I do also love working in new locations, I find it sharpens my creative mind & results in new compositions that may not have previously been photographed. I’m always happy to talk through your plans and share relevant galleries from similar settings. So please do ask me.
